 Ifa assures this person that all the ire of life shall be given to him/her . Ifa sees him/her  as a navigator who willl navigates for Olodumare  and Himself. Ose-Teere, is what they call alligator pepper in Ketu land

An Ajanlawe is what kolanut is called in Ilawe land

They asked them to bring liquor

They responded that liquor cannot make the ebo to manifest

and be accepted

They asked them to procure palm-wine

They responded that palm-wine has too much sediments

They asked them to bring cool water

They responded yes!

It is my mouth that made my prayers to manifest

It is now that my mouth has the required blessing

These were Ifa’s declarations to Kolobo bird

Who would receive blessings from the snail’s mouth

He was advised to offer ebo

He complied

Please Kolobo, use your mouth to ask for your blessings,

Kolobo

Pray for prosperity

Pray for compatible spouse

Pray for good character

Pray for good children

Pray for the blessing of all ire of life

And add that of long life to your blessings

Kolobo use your mouth to pray for yourself.

She who wraps himself in two clothes which made her full and

These were Ifa’s messages for Akinwumi in the household of

Ilode

And also for Faronbi

Who was offering the ebo of the fruit of the womb in the

household of Ojikan

Akinwumi was blessed with wealth and Faronbi was blessed

with wealth

And Faronbi was blessed with opulence

To be blessed with both children and opulence is that satisfies

greatly in this world

The wealth of the home of Ojikan will never go into ruins 

and the children will never die in Ilose land. 

The wealth in the home of Ojikan will never go into ruin.

Ifa says that this person  shall be happy and he  will surely have cause to celebrate in life. Ifa says that he/she  will be blessed abundantly by Olodumare and all the Irunmole. Ifa advises him  to offer ebo with dried meat of any kind and money. On this, Ose-tura says:

conquerors

He was advised to offer ebo

He is happy because he is filled to the brim

 Ifa advises this person  not to entertain any fear in his/her chosen profession, especially if he is a Babalawo . Ifa says that he will succeed and he  will be known everywhere as a very good Awo, or an excellent professional. Ifa enjoins him to do good at all times Ifa advises him  to offer ebo with 2 pigeons, two guinea fowls, locust beans, salt, pepper, honey and money. On this, Ifa says:

 Ifa says that whenever this person  wake up early in the morning, he  must always pray before doing anything. By doing so, Ifa assures him  that he  will succeed in life. It is what he/she  open his  mouth to say in form of prayers that the Divinities will uphold. Ifa says also that those who plan to cheat this person  will be humiliated. Those who had already cheated him/her  will pay for it. Nobody can point evil fingers at  this person without paying dearly for it. Ifa advises him to offer ebo with a mature he-goat and money. He also need to feed Ifa with a she-goat.

Who stays atop the hill and was praying unendingly

Ako-loloolo, why do you stay on top of the hill

And you are praying without end?

He declared that around this time last year

They fought against him as Aloro land

They carried all his Ikin and packed them 

They carried all his Ikin and put them together

They dug the ground and threw them there

Orunmila declared that we should wait until the dry season

I chorus that we need to wait until the dry season



The dry season has almost come

When I will retrieve all my Ikin from them

The Ikin that Akoda is using are my Ikin

The ones being used by Aseda are my Ikin

The Ikin of Araba in the land of Ife are my Ikin

The Ikin of Agunregejege in Egba land are my Ikin

And even the Ikin of Awurela in Ijebu land belong to me

8. Ifa says that this person shall be blessed with Ase in  his/her mouth. Anything he/she  say with all sense of seriousness shall come to pass. That is the reason why he  must never curse or swear against anyone. If he  do, it will come to pass. Ifa also says that he/she  need to continuously prepare the ground for his  children, biological, adopted and spiritual so as to enable them progress in life. This will be your ultimate joy and contentment in the future. Ifa promises that  he will live to your very old age and you will enjoy all the benefits of Ifa to the fullest. Ifa advises him to offer ebo with 4 rats, 4 fish, 2 hens, 2 pigeons, 2 guinea-fowls, 2 ducks, 2 roosters and money. He  also need to feed Ifa with a mature she-goat.  On all these, Ifa says:

If it affects the Aguala, the planet Venus

It will also affect the Moon

If it affects the Iwofa, the pawn

It will equally affect the Onigbowo, the Guarantor

It will even affect one’s siblings

What about one’s pounded yam?

One’s offspring has eaten them

And what about one’s drink?

One’s children has consumed it

What of one’s money?

One’s kids has taken them away

Orunmila declared that it is now Oni-poroporo-Siki

I chorus that it is now Oni-poroporo-Siki Ifa

This was Ifa’s declaration to Iworo-Orisa, the Orisa High Priest

Who would go and officiate at the Annual Festival

Danda, the resident Awo of Onigbayanrin

He cast Ifa for Onigbayanrin, offspring of Ogun who cannot

manufacture the ivory

Agbonrin, the Deer, with the thick but large liver, the Awo of

Alaganna-Mesi

The dog climbs the walls erected around the town, and was

casting Ifa

They cast Ifa for Olowu Kango-Oro, also known as Amiwo-Aja

He who will grow so old

Who will be so feeble with age

Who will enjoy life like someone licking pure honey

They were advised to offer ebo

They all complied

Before long, not too far

Join us in the midst of joy

Ifa says that anytime that this person feel sick or ill, all  he  need to do is to offer ebo and feed Osu staff and  his/her  illness will disappear. Ifa promises him  that he/she  will never live his  life in illness. Ifa advises him to offer ebo with three roosters and money. One of the roosters will be used to feed Osu. He  also need to add a lot of palm-oil to his  ebo materials.  On this, Ifa says:

And was struggling to get well

He was advised to offer ebo

Now Oniseri, please lift up your head

Firm and erect is the way we normally meet Osu

 Ifa says that this person , together with all those close to close to him/her  are pursuing certain ire in life but they  have not yet been able to achieve their heart’s desires. Ifa says that they shall all surely get what they  want. Ifa also says that they  all need to avoid anything that will turn out foolish or unreasonable. They need to deliberate properly and ensure that only the right course of action is taken .Ifa promises that they will be able to gather together a group of dedicated and loyal followers and children. Ifa advises them to offer ebo with 16 pigeons, 16 hens, 16 guinea fowls, 16 she-goats, 16 bottles of palm oil and money.  On this Ose-Otura says:

Apa tree is it that stays in the farm and bloom invitingly

The Iroko tree of the forest stays in a place and develops

The palm tree that grows Ikin usually sprouts with 16 palm-

fronds

I am Ijio, a cannot use the hoe as a farmer

Ifa’s messages for the inhabitants of Ibadan Land, the snails

The Awo has reached where the Mother-Earth accepts and

endorses pleas

Too! May it be so!

11. Ifa advises This person  never to show anger on any issue. He  must always show maturity, especially when in the midst of many people. If he  do this,  He shall be looked upon for guidance and direction. Ifa says that  his  life shall be very interesting and rewarding if he  can keep all the tenets and taboos of Ifa. He have chosen all the great things of life in heaven. He  should not allow excessive anger or tempestuous temperament to derail him. Ifa advises this person to offer ebo with 3 roosters, 3 guinea fowls and money. One of the roosters will be used to feed Esu.  On this Ose -Otura says:

Ibinu o da nnkan fun’ni

Suuru ni baba iwa

Agba to ni suuru 

Ohun gbogbo lo ni

Dia fun Ose-Teere

Ti yoo kun Irunmole merindinlogun wale aye

Ebo ni won ni ko waa se

Translation

Anger amounts to nothing for one

Patience is the father of all good characters

An elder who has patience

He has all the good things of life

This is Ifa’s message for Ose-Teere (Ose-Otura)

Who will join the 16 Irunmole from heaven to earth

He was advised to offer ebo

He complied

Before long, not to far

Join us in the midst of joy

Come and behold all ire of life





12.

 Ifa says that this person  shall be blessed with the ability to pray for people and for such prayers to manifest. This blessing is coming directly from Olodumare. Ifa says that “Blessings and their Manifestation” shall become his servants which will be answering his  calls anytime he  summon it. This is the reason why he must not swear on or curse anyone. That has become a serious taboo for you. If you engage in the act of cursing people, you stand the chance of losing the Ase. Ifa advises him to offer ebo with 4 rats, 4 fish, 2 hens, 2 pigeons, two guinea fowls, 2 roosters and money.  He also need to feed Ifa with a mature she-goat.  On this Ifa says:

Ifa says that this person  do not need to be afraid to speak. He do not  do not need to exercise any fear whatsoever to pray for people and pray for himself. If he  pray, his  prayers shall be answered. Whatever  he/she say shall come to pass. Ifa advises this person  to offer ebo with 2 axes, one rooster and money.One of the two axes shall be offered as ebo while the second one shall be used to make Ifa preparation for him. If this can be done, he/she  will see that authority and Ase shall be added into his/her  life. On this Ifa has this to say:

14. Ifa says that his /her  prayers shall be answered. He  will be blessed with wealth, good and compatible spouse, loving and lively children, success and comfort. He  shall have peace of mind and contentment. There is the need for this person to have Ogun that he/she  will be propitiating regularly. If he do this, he  will succeed beyond his/her wildest imagination. He/she  also need to feed his/her  Ori regularly in order for him/her  to succeed in life. Ifa advises  this person  to offer ebo with 8 rats, 8 fish, 4 pigeons, 4 hens, four ducks, 4 guinea-fowls, 4 roosters and money. He also also need to feed Ogun with whatever Ogun demands for. At the same time, he/she  need to feed his/her  Ori with whatever his/her  Ori requires. On all of these, Os-Otura  says:

Dia fun won ni Ibese Egiri

Awon le di olopolopo eeyan ni won ndafa si

Ebo ni won ni ki won waa se

15.

 Ifa advises this person  to feed his/her  Ori regularly so that all the doors of opportunity will open widely for him/her  at all the times of his/her  life. He  is  bound to succeed. He is  bound to prosper. He is bound  to be happy and contented. He is also  are to enjoy self-actualization. Ifa advises this person  to offer ebo with 4 white pigeons, 6 guinea-fowls and money. He  also need to feed his/ Ori with a white pigeon, honey, gin and coconut.  On this, Ifa says:

Awo Aja lo dia f’Aja

Omo Alaburo-Akoko

Ifa o pe l’Ado, o d’aje

Aroni dinwindinwin d’agba

Ogota Ilawe sawo

Won o lase lenu

Translation

Today is the market-day that was transacted every five days

The Awo of Aja, was the one who cast Ifa for Aja

Ifa you had stayed too long in Ado-Ekiti, and you were known

16.

Ifa promises that all evil principalities will be chased away from  this person . Ifa says that  he is  sleeping and waking up with all evil principalities. There is the need for you to take steps to chase these evil principalities away.  Ifa advises him to offer ebo with one mature he-goat, plenty of food and money.  On this, Ifa says:

Igbekugbee l’omode kekere n gbe’do

Ilokulo laa lo omi ojo

Bi aso ba gbo tan

A di akisa yele-yele-yele

Dia fun Sense

Ti nloo gbawo nile Eledidi-Moro

Ebo ni won ni ko waa se

Iku, koo ma sele sile Awo

home of an Awo
