Ilia Delio is a Franciscan scholar and the author of many books, such as Franciscan Prayer, The Humility of God, and Care for Creation: A Franciscan Spirituality of the Earth, which won two Catholic Press Book Awards. Delio lovingly explores the life of St. Francis, weaving together connections between the stories and teachings of his life with those of modern figures like Richard Rohr and with Christian mystics like Bonaventure, Clare of Assisi, and St. Therese of Lisiuex.
